Ladakh Extended Tour

Ladakh is bounded by two of the world's mightiest mountain ranges, the Great Himalaya and the Karakoram; it lies athwart two other, the Ladakh range and the Zanskar range. Ladakh is also known as the 'Little Tibet' in India. Ladakh Mountains are located in the northern India Himalayas with the Jammu and Kashmir sandwiched between two vast mountain systems, the Himalayas to the south, the Karakoram to the north and beyond Karakoram there lies another mountain Range, Kun - Lun. Ladakh lies at altitudes ranging from about 9,000 feet (2750m) at Kargil to 25,170 feet (7,672m) at Saser Kangri in the Karakoram. Thus summer temperatures rarely exceed about 27 degree celcius in the shade, while in winter they may plummet to minus 20 degree celcius even in Leh. Ladakh is ideal ground for pilgrimage journeys to these age-old pillars of Tibetan Buddhism.

Ladakh is well connected by air by numerous airlines and road networks. Most of the Ladakh tours and treks start from Delhi which 1047 kilometers far from Leh. Leh is easily assessable by private vehicles or inter-state buses which are the best way to commute to explore the scenic beauty of Northern India. You can even fly to Leh from Delhi which is another option to reach Leh. Since Leh itself is situated at a high altitude 3500 meters above sea level, we have to properly acclimatize before exploring other higher regions of Ladakh. Ladhak is most attractive and one of the most visiting places by tourists because of its easy assessable transportation networks but in winter tourists faces lots of problem to reach here because of high snowfall.
