Hindu Pilgrimage Tour


As we all know Nepal is the famous for its natural beauty and crowning Himalayan Range with world's highest mountain Mt. Everest (8848m). More over Nepal is popular for its Pilgrimages of Hindus. So we have specially designed a Hindus Pilgrimage Tour for those people who are followers of Hinduism and tempted to know the history and importance of Hindu pilgrimages. You can visit the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the world biggest stupa; Boudhhanath, Syombhunath stupa (monkey temple), Buda Nilkantha (the sleeping Lord Bishnu) and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kumari temple and Dakshin Kali in Kathmandu (Kasthamandup), a city of temples. Further you can explore Historical and Religious Gurkha palace (Uttar kali) with a special visit to Manakamana Temple (wish fulfilling deity). Visit of religious places like Bindawasini Temple, Tal Barahi Temple, Mahendra cave and Gupteshwor Mahadev cave will give you new experiences. Detail Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival, transfer to Hotel (A) 
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative welcomes you and assists you to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu, after freshen up; you will be provided the necessary information regarding the trip in Nepal along with our fellow trekking staff for your adventurous trip. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing (A, B, L, D)
We will collect you on the morning for guided trip of cultural word heritage sites in Kathmandu valley which is rich for its Newa culture and temples; including several places of pilgrimages sites for Hindus and Buddhists, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the world biggest Stuppa; Boudhhanath, Swoyambhunath Stupa (monkey temple), Buda Nilkantha (The sleeping Lord Bishnu) and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with unique architectural temple, and incredible Kumari widely known as Living Goddess in Basantapur of central Kathmandu. You will also get a very special chance to visit Dakshin Kali temple. Dakshin kali temple is about 45 minutes drive from Kathmandu valley and you can encounter the historical Chobar Hill and Tou Daha on the way to it. 

Day 03:  Kathmandu - Manakamana Temple - Gurkha Tour (A, B, L, D)
Take a great drive to Gurkha for 5 hours with the Magnificient views of green hills and crowning Himalayan range. We stop at Kurintar on the way to reach one of the most popular pilgrimages in Nepal, the incredible Manakamana Temple (wish fulfilling deity) which is thought to be one of the manifestations of Hindu Goddess Bhagwati. People still believe she fulfills the every wish of her Devotees. Manakamana temple is easy accessible in about 10 minutes by Cable Car from Kurintar which offers shrine in both spiritual and physical exhilaration. You can also visit Manakamana Temple by an adventurous walk from Anbu Khaireni - a small town that lies on Prithvi Highway. We take lunch after returning Kurintar and continue our drive to Gurkha where we stop for the night.

Day 04: Discover Gurkha Palace (origin place of real gurkhalese) (A, B, L, D)
After a hearty breakfast, we discover the vicinity of Gurkha Palace. Gurkha is popular with rich ancient history of its own and has always remained as center of attraction for both Nepalese and foreign tourists. We walk for one hour to reach historical Gurkha Palace widely known as "Mathillo Durbar" from downtown Gurkha. It is situated over a fortified hillock and known as the palace of the late King Prithivi Narayan Shah who took mammoth task of unifying the greater Nepal as it was divided into several kingdoms in mid eighteenth century. We further discover the Gurkha Palace which comprised of temple of Goddess Gurkha - kali (Uttar kalika) and cave that claims to be shelter of famous Tantrik sage, Gurakh Nath. This palace is intricately designed and perfect viewpoint to admire the lofty mountains with magnificent paranomic Himalayan Range consisting Mt. Manaslu Ganesh Himal and Himchuli. 
You can get plenty of time to explore Gurkha Museam known as "Tallo Durbar" built in 1835. The Museam lies in center of Downtown Gurkha where you can find spears, rifles, cannons, traditional musical instruments and ancient relics.

Day 05: Drive to Pokhara (half day sightseeing) (A, B, L, D)
Take great drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu Valley with great views of Himalayans up above the green hills. Enjoy the beauty of Fewa lake located in central Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel. 

Day 06: Fly to Jomsom and drive to Muktinath (A, B, L, D)
A super scenic flight brings you at Jomsom in the kali Gandaki valley. Here we drive to Muktinath from Jomsom.
Muktinath is a sacred place both for Hindus and Buddhists located in Muktinath Valley at an altitude of 3,710 meters at the foot of the Thorong La mountain pass (part of the Himalayas), Mustang district, Nepal which literally means ‘the place for salvation’. Overnight at Muktinath.

Day 07: Back to Jomsom (A, B, L, D)
Early in the morning Muktinath Darshan. You can have an extraordinary shower on 108 taps after worshiping Muktinath temple. After a hearty breakfast, we then drive back to Jomsom via Kagbeni.

Day 08: Fly back to Pokhara and explore city (A, B, L, D)
After a very early buffet breakfast at the hotel, we make our way to the airport to fly back to Pokhara. The early dramatic flight of approximately 25 minutes with majestic mountains views of the Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Annapurna range above the World deepest Gorge takes us Pokhara. Pokhara city- A city of natural beauty where you can explore Lake Side with panorama view of fascinating mountains and nature charming. Yopu can visit Bindawasini Temple, Tal Barahi Temple, Mahendra cave and Gupteshor Mahadev cave and you can also have shopping in Pokhara and explore the vicinity of Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 09:  Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (A, B,) 
Take a drive for 6 hours to Kathmandu which is 200km east from Pokhara on Prithivi highway enjoying the river side view and farm lands with great views of Himalayans up above the green hills. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10:  Departure from Kathmandu for next trip or to your home (B)
Your Hindu pilgrimage tour has come to an end today. Today is free or last minute to enjoy in Nepal. If you have days left and ready for next trip then let us know. If not our representative will transfer you to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onward destination, taking with us the memories of wonderful moments spend with us.

Weather conditions, health condition of a member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
